Ever wondered why you still get to see tons of young mother pushing their babies in prams around during peak hour?I was just thinking that these mothers can't be working if they are bring their babies, if they wanna go out, why wait until office hours, where the MRT's DAMN squeezy. All the virus and germs will go to your child lar, and it's so difficult to travel during these time, like if you are stuck at the other door, you probably need to move like 20 people out of the way to travel to the exit on the opposite door.
The thing is that when these mothers have prams, they usually just dun care, shove it in the MRT, rolling over some innocent legs, which is really painful.
These prams are also usually so big these days, you wonder where do those smaller simple prams in the past goes to. It's like a "Singaporean adults wanna get bigger car, Singaporean babies wanna get bigger prams" kind of thing. They take up at least like 3-4 standing adults spaces.
These babies will also suddenly cry in the middle of no where, probably because it is too squeezy and hot, and then everyone around will suffer, especially worst when it is so crowded during peak hours.
Even when you try to ignore everything, and try to focus on the fact that babies are small, you will realise that the "baby" in the pram usually turn out to be some 4,5 years old big children who has overgrown his pram with his feet sticking out When we were young, we definitely would have been standing and holding onto the handrail, secretly wanting to swing around it but can't cause too squeezy. Or you will simply find that the kids are standing around, but the pram was simply used to carry things that they buy in shopping trips.
Look how gracious our society is these days.
